THE GREAT MIGRATION FAMILY SAFARI

The Great Migration in African Serengeti is one of its kind and such enormous ecosystem is literally incomparable.

Day 1

Arrive in Serengeti and begin your best family safari adventure in the heart of the magnificent wilderness. Board a bush plane to have fun flying over the Serengeti Plains and the entire family would get a chance to appreciate the beautiful natural scenery. As you reach the Seronera Airstrip, our representative would be there to take you to the camp. This journey would be 40 minutes ride and it will be your first chance to spot wildlife creatures including big 5, hippos, buffalos, giraffes and elephants.

As you reach the camp, our staff would welcome you and as you settle; you will be served a leisurely lunch. After lunch, you will be taken for an afternoon short game drive. There are programs and activities for young adventurers. Fun facilities for kids would make the adventure even more interesting for the family. After a full day of excitement, relax and spend a leisurely evening in our tent and enjoy some delicious dishes with tempting desserts served at the restaurant.

Day 2

Rising before the light of the sun is spread with a coffee in your hand heading towards the location where a silent inflation system would fill the hot air in the balloon. No experience could match taking a flight high above in the sky in a hot air balloon. You get to have the best views of natural Serengeti plains. This ride is available for kids 7 and above. A fascinating and unforgettable balloon cruising silently lifts you from the ground and soar through the air as you watch in awe a truly magical wildlife safari experience. A lavish champagne breakfast is served after a rich aerial adventure. Return to the camp, unwind with your family and share individual experiences. Night can be enjoyed with dinner under stars as a camp fire waits for you.

Day 3

Get breakfast and then hop on a 4x4 for your first game drive through Serengeti where you get a chance to be close to wildlife creatures. A completely unique and amazing view of nature’s rare species and creatures along with herds of wildebeest can be viewed as they live and move around in the world’s most ancient ecosystem.

Return to the camp around lunchtime. Our expert chefs prepare authentic Tanzanian local specialties. You can opt to attend a family cooking class where you can learn the secrets of cooking. Kids can be part of these activities and they will surely have fun cutting some cookies with their favourite animal shape cutters. The evening would be for a charming torch-it dinner setting in the bush for the entire family to enjoy making it an unforgettable moment.

Day 4

This morning head for the breakfast and then kids would get to spend some time learning about Maasai traditions and bush-skills under the guidance of a Maasai warrior. They will learn to make fire with sticks and elephant dung. They get to know about how plants can be used as medicines and more of such interesting learning activities await them.

The Great Migration tracking through the Mara River is what we recommend if any crossing happens. Our expert guides would take you to spots where there are increased chances of spotting animals from the list of the big 5 along with other uncommon ones too. Return to camp and relax during the evening. Enjoy dinner at campsite restaurant.

Day 5

For a full day of elusive safari experience filled with magical and thrilling moments around Serengeti, get up early in the morning and catch the great migration tracking drive. A bush lunch is served for the family as you move on to visit prominent northern Serengeti regions. Since this is your last night, enjoy a relaxing family dinner at the camp.

Day 6

A short transfer more appropriately a short game drive would take you to the Kogatende Airstrip from where you board your flight back home or to your next destination.
